Dr. Sivam and the staff at Family Allergy and Asthma are unmatched in the industry. The level of care and concern for each individual patient is outstanding, we recently located to the Indianapolis area from Texas and we are so grateful that our pediatrician recommended this practice to us! Our kids are finally getting the care they need! Thank you Dr. Sivam!

I had an MCAS reaction AT the allergist's office...the nurses witnessed the whole thing, and then Dr. Vivian Nanagas proceeded to tell me she doesn't really specialize in MCAS (which isn't what I read on Medifind) and she wanted to start from scratch despite me bringing along ALL of my labs (recent & dating back 8 years) indicating MCAS. She threw them aside and didn't even want to look at them.
The amount of frustration, gaslighting, dismissing, and minimizing in the healthcare industry is mind-blowing. To top it off, they had a water leak on a ceiling tile in the bathroom (possible mold?), the nurse reeked of cigarette smoke (which caused my reaction), and when I stepped out to go to the restroom before meeting with Dr. Nanagas (after the nurses witnessed everything) she walked in, looked at my husband and said, "What do you really think is going on here?" (Before even meeting me OR even looking at my labs!!) Yes, my jaw dropped when he told me this later, he was floored.
It's frustrating to think this is the "help" I get after waiting months for this appointment. Clearly, we are not a good fit for one another and I won't be referring my health coaching clients to her OR this practice. Honestly, in my opinion, she needs to be fired for that kind of behavior.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dina Y.IN, IN02Jun 23, 2023
Waited months to be seen as first time patient here by "Dr. Vivian" for possible food/drug allergies verses sensitivity issues . Felt extremely rushed. The Dr. speaking very fast and also had me send pictures of allergies listed on my IU Chart from my phone to their nurses email instead of properly requesting from my doctor all while during "my minutes of time" with this doctor and she's asking me questions at the same time I'm doing this, instead of just properly requesting info from other doctor office.. stating "she has to see other patients". The worst part is the letter sent to my primary doctor was very unprofessional, uncomfortable violating privacy rights and uncalled for. Literally quoting and also misquoted some of what I was able to say to her during this visit for all to see is absolutely absurd. What is the point of that? Reporting to MBB. I normally do not list negative reviews, but felt obligated to do so this time to warn others to go elsewhere for help.

I recently had my first visit with Dr Esquevil and while my allergy concerns were addressed and the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly, I unfortunately also left with some unsolicited weight-loss advice from Dr Esquevil that left me in tears during my visit.
I wanted to address food and seasonal allergies and the Whole 30 diet was recommended as an elimination diet to navigate food allergies. She also added that "you'll also probably lose some weight from cutting out sugary, processed crap" and then continued telling me about an endocrinologist who suggests intermittent fasting for weight loss. I NEVER asked for weight loss advice.
I have several medical and metabolic conditions that contribute to my current weight, none of which Dr Esquevil inquired about or has my medical history to know about. She simply looked at me and my weight and assumed that fat loss is a goal of mine that I am not addressing.
I won't be returning and I am going to dispute the office visit charge they are likely going to bill me. It's 2022, let's do better.
Additionally, their scale is set to lbs and not kgs which should have told me right away that they are not a fat-friendly or eating disorder aware facility. Don't recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I have been extremely sick for 6 months and had some severe allergic reactions. I have seen multiple MD's around Hamilton County and must say this was by far the least helpful medical assistance I received. Highly recommend going to one of the many other doctors in the area.

We have been seeing this establishment for a year now. The service and experience have been fine. We had an appointment and apparently owed $83 to them. If I did not make a payment at that time, there policy is to not be seen. I did not have my HSA card on me and Assurred them I would make the payment as soon as I got home. They refused, I called and spoke to csr, and then their manager. She was rude, unhelpful and kept interrupting me. I will not go back to this place and I will encourage people not to see them.
